Senior Test Automation Engineer

Important Note: This role will need to be 100% in office since due to the non-public personal information access they will have.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform advanced database validation and backend data verification using strong SQL skills, including complex joins, subqueries, data integrity checks, and reconciliation across multiple data sources.
• Apply basic IVR (Interactive Voice Response) testing knowledge, including validation of call flows, prompts, menu navigation, DTMF inputs, and backend integrations to ensure accurate customer interaction and system behavior (manual and automated where supported)
• Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks using Java, Selenium, TestNG, and Cucumber (BDD). Implement BDD test scenarios using Gherkin and collaborate with business and development teams to ensure test coverage aligns with requirements o Automate API testing using Rest Assured for RESTful services   
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across web and backend systems
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing practices
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and contribute to quality strategy   
• Maintain test code using Git, following best practices for version control and collaboration
• Continuously improve test coverage, framework performance, and overall QA processes

Technical Skills

• Up to three (3) years of experience in software development
• Experience in test automation.
• Experience programming with any OOP programming language
• Basic knowledge of Object Oriented Programming
• Basic knowledge of test cases creation.
• Basic knowledge of test automation tools (Karate DSL or Selenium)
• Knowledge of test automation frameworks (Cucumber, JBehave, Serenity, etc)
• Basic knowledge of API testing (manual or automated, if automated using Ready API, SOAP UI, Postman or Karate DSL)
• Basic knowledge on any of the following: BDD, Page Object Model, Data Driven Testing

Nice-to-have/Advantage

• Experience programming in Java
• Agile development experience
• Experience in working in different programming languages is a plus
