Description

The Company-Owned Company-Operated (COCO) Stations Cluster Manager is responsible for overseeing the operational, financial, and service performance of a group of COCO retail stations within a designated area. This role is focused on driving sales growth, ensuring operational excellence, maintaining high customer service standards, and developing station-level leadership. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills and must be capable of motivating and guiding station managers and their teams to achieve strategic goals.

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed targets across all COCO stations in the cluster.
  • Analyze station-level performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to adjust sales approaches accordingly.
  • Oversee daily station operations, including inventory management, manpower allocation, pricing compliance, and forecourt activity.
  • Provide timely updates to immediate superiors regarding key operational matters such as product delivery, pricing changes, customer issues, promotions, and other site-specific developments.
  • Ensure a consistently high level of customer service across all stations.
  • Implement protocols and operational strategies aimed at enhancing customer journey.
  • Build and nurture relationships with regular customers and potential P.O. clients.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate station managers and personnel to improve performance and team cohesion.
  • Cultivate a respectful, professional, and collaborative working environment.
  • Manage cluster-level budgets, monitor expenses, and support profitability targets.
  • Ensure all stations adhere to cash handling policies and submit timely and accurate sales reports.
  • Enforce compliance with all company policies, operating procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Ensure timely renewal of licenses, submission of documents, and adherence to requirements from both local and national authorities, including other implementing agencies covering gasoline station operations and compliance.
  • Collaborate with station teams and the Engineering Department to maintain the station’s appearance and functionality.
  • Ensure all equipment and facilities are in good working condition and meet operational standards.
  • Maintain open and effective communication channels with station personnel, immediate superiors, business consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity in goals and expectations.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues related to operations, staffing, customer service, or logistics that may affect station performance.

Requirements

  • Strong ability to lead by example, develop high-performing teams, and build trust.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with diverse stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of sales principles, marketing strategies, and consumer behavior.
  • Proficiency in analyzing sales reports, operational metrics, and customer feedback to make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to swiftly and effectively resolve challenges within the cluster.
  • Knowledge of best practices in retail operations, including inventory control, merchandising, and service excellence.
  • Experience in budgeting, cost control, and profitability management.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service and building long-term customer relationships.
  • Ability to mentor and develop station managers and staff, encouraging continuous learning and growth.
