Job Title: Area Manager - Operations

Job Summary

The Area Manager for Operations is responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects within strict deadlines and approved budgets. The role includes acquiring necessary resources and coordinating with internal teams, third-party contractors, and consultants to deliver quality outputs efficiently, safely, and professionally.

The Area Manager ensures that all projects within the assigned geographical area are implemented according to approved plans, specifications, and project execution plans at the least possible cost while achieving full satisfaction of both management and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all construction projects within the assigned area
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and consultants
• Monitor compliance with plans, specifications, and safety standards
• Implement cost-control measures and ensure efficient resource utilization
• Maintain quality standards aligned with company policies and ISO requirements
• Provide regular project updates and reports to management
• Ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety standards

Approving Authority

• Applications for leaves
• Official business requests
• Overtime applications
• Performance appraisal review form (PARF)

Qualification Standards

Education:

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
• Licensed Civil Engineer

Experience:

• At least fifteen (15) years of technical work experience in horizontal and vertical construction, demonstrating progressive leadership experience

Skills and Competencies:

• Advanced project management skills
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills
• Strong presentation skills
• Knowledge of environmental, health, and safety standards and procedures
• Basic knowledge of MS Office applications
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System is an advantage
• Professional attitude and appearance
