Junior architect

Job Summary

The Junior Architect assists in the planning, design, and execution of architectural projects. The role involves preparing drawings, coordinating with project teams, conducting site inspections, and ensuring that designs comply with client requirements, company standards, and applicable building codes.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare architectural drawings, plans, elevations, sections, and detailed construction drawings.
• Develop 2D and 3D models, renderings, and design presentations.
• Assist in preparing project proposals, specifications, and material schedules.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, suppliers, and project teams.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor project progress and ensure compliance with approved plans.
• Assist in resolving design and construction issues during project implementation.
• Ensure architectural documents comply with local building codes, regulations, and company standards.
• Revise drawings and documents based on project requirements or client feedback.
• Prepare as-built drawings and project documentation upon project completion.
• Perform quantity take-offs and assist in material estimation when required.
• Maintain organized project files and documentation.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Project Manager or Management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Licensed Architect is an advantage but not required.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit (preferred), and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of rendering software such as Lumion, Enscape, or V-Ray is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of the National Building Code of the Philippines and construction methods.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under pressure.
• Willing to travel and conduct site inspections when necessary.
