Description

The Junior Architect is responsible for conceptualizing, creating, and drafting architectural plans and revisions for various projects, which contributes in maintaining the company's position as quality and customer-oriented for its design and construction services. The role requires technical proficiency, attention to detail, and creativity, as well as strong communication skills in interacting with fellow workmates and the client itself, contractors, and suppliers, as well as presenting work to client either onsite or through online (e.g., Google Meet, Zoom). They also create designs, mood boards, and as-built drawings to meet client demands and regulatory requirements.

In addition to design and drafting tasks, the Junior Architect is also expected to conduct site inspections, measurements, and estimations to ensure accuracy and feasibility of project plans. The role further involves supporting the architectural design process with cost-aware planning and careful selection of materials, balancing creativity with budgetary and structural considerations. Moreover, the Junior Architect provides permit and documentation support, preparing and organizing regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and smooth project approvals.

Close coordination with contractors, estimators, and suppliers and client is a must to align budgets, timelines, and design intent. Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
