Job Summary

The Site Architect is responsible for overseeing the architectural aspects of construction projects, ensuring that designs are executed accurately and in accordance with approved plans, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements. The role serves as the primary architectural representative on-site, coordinating with project teams, consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure successful project delivery while maintaining design integrity, safety, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor on-site construction activities to ensure architectural works are executed according to approved plans, specifications, and design intent.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, project managers, contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate project execution.
• Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, and construction details for compliance and accuracy.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify workmanship quality, material conformity, and adherence to project standards.
• Identify, evaluate, and resolve architectural and construction issues that may impact project quality, schedule, or budget.
• Monitor project progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on site activities, accomplishments, and challenges.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, local regulations, safety requirements, and quality management standards.
• Assist in planning construction methodologies and sequencing of architectural works.
• Verify that all architectural finishes, installations, and details are completed according to project specifications and client requirements.
• Coordinate inspections, punch listing, testing, and project closeout activities.
• Monitor project expenditures related to architectural works and assist in budget control and cost management.
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical recommendations to support decision-making.
• Maintain accurate records of site instructions, design revisions, approvals, and project documentation.
• Ensure project milestones, deliverables, and deadlines are achieved in accordance with the approved construction schedule.
