PURPOSE OF POSITION

Under general supervision, responsible in providing daily support for the direct sales force in the areas of applications, proposal work and order processing/management. Specifically, this would include review of pump specifications, proposal preparation, providing technical support to customers, interfacing with vendors, order processing and expediting.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Review customer specifications and prepare comprehensive professional

proposals.

2. Prepare proposals using online software from principal suppliers.

3. Interface with outside vendors to solicit quotes for equipment.

4. Effectively process orders and manage any issues that arise.

5. Act as a liaison between operations and sales / customers.

6. Participate in sales calls with Sales as part of the development process.

7. Provide technical support to customers on issues

8. Attends pre-award meetings or technical discussions as required.

9. Effectively communicates with Sales on account-by-account status.

10. Proactively seeks to help in workload issues within the office.

11. Actively participates in discussions on pricing strategies with Sales.

12. Prepare and submit reports required by suppliers / principals

13. Responsible for ensuring that any information obtained through employment with RESCON is held in absolute confidence.

14. Perform other duties that may be assigned by the immediate superior from time to time

EDUCATION REQUIRED

Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or any equivalent technical degree preferred.
