Job Summary

We are looking for an Application Support Engineer professional to provide technical support for automation systems and internally developed applications. The role involves system integration, dashboard development, troubleshooting, and supporting manufacturing operations through automation and paperless solutions while collaborating with Operations, Engineering, and IT teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for automation systems and IES-developed applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software, system integration, and automation solutions.
• Develop and maintain Spotfire dashboards and analytics to support operational decision-making.
• Support the integration and maintenance of paperless systems across multiple applications.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and IT teams to address line automation requirements.
• Assist in monitoring, supporting, and coordinating small- to large-scale automation projects.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and GitHub repositories.
• Ensure timely completion of support tasks while maintaining high service quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in system integration, automation support, or web development.
• Knowledge of manufacturing execution systems (MES), paperless systems, and system integration is an advantage.
• Understanding of assembly and test line business processes is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in SQL, PHP, JavaScript, Java, and Python.
• Experience in software troubleshooting and debugging.
• Knowledge of Spotfire dashboard development and analytics.
• Familiarity with MES integration and SECS/GEM communication.
• Experience with GitHub or other version control/documentation tools is a plus.
