Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Preventative Maintenance: Disassemble units safely to clean filters, fan blades, drainage pipes, and condenser/evaporator coils.
- Deep Cleaning: Utilize specialized tools (e.g., pressure washers, vacuum cleaners, and coil cleaning chemicals) to remove mold, dust, and debris.
- System Inspection: Check units for refrigerant leaks, inspect electrical components, and test airflow and temperature output.
- Basic Troubleshooting: Identify blockages in drain pipes, fix water leaks, and assist technicians with minor repairs.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards, especially when working at heights or handling hazardous cleaning chemicals.
- Documentation: Log maintenance tasks, track chemical/part usage, and provide status reports to clients or management.
