Qualifications:

• High school diploma or certification or a diploma from technical or vocational training program in refrigeration and air conditioning is highly beneficial
• Proven experience as an air conditioning/HVAC technician is often required
• Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues with HVAC equipment
• Ability to use hand and power tools for maintenance and repair.

Key Responsibilities :

• Installation & Setup: Installing new HVAC units, ductwork, and electrical components.
• Maintenance & Cleaning: Performing routine checks, cleaning coils, changing filters, and calibrating thermostats.
• Diagnostics & Repair: Troubleshooting electrical/mechanical faults, repairing leaks, and replacing broken components.
• Compliance & Safety: Adhering to safety protocols, environmental regulations regarding refrigerants, and building codes.
• Reporting & Service: Documenting service, providing cost estimates, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
