ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT

We are seeking a competent and

detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support the Finance and Accounting

Department in managing daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial

records, and assisting in tax compliance and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accounting records and financial documents.

• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.

• Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations.

 • Assist in the preparation and filing of monthly BIR tax returns and ensure timely submission of all tax-related requirements.

• Prepare schedules and supporting documents for BIR compliance and audits.

• Assist in payroll processing and government statutory remittances.

• Maintain accurate filing of accounting documents and records.

• Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers, and clients regarding billing and

payments.

• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Financial Management, or a

related field.

• At least 2-3 years of accounting experience is preferred.

• Knowledgeable in the preparation and monthly filing of BIR tax returns (e.g., VAT,

Withholding Taxes, and other applicable tax reports).

• Experienced in bank reconciliation, account reconciliation, and general ledger

reconciliation.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero, or

similar systems).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.

• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.

 Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Philippine tax regulations and accounting standards.

• Experience handling BIR audits and tax documentation is an advantage.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
