ACCOUNTING INNOVATION:
1. Ensure internal controls and accounting processes are up to the Company's standard requirements, including but not limited to documentation of existing methods, critical review, and implementation of improved practices as appropriate.
2. Addresses financial issues/concerns of any accounting department that needs utmost attention.
3. Assist and work closely with the Administrative Department.
4. Document all accounting procedures operated by the Ed-Jire Herbal Products and its sister companies, review and recommend improvements.
ACCOUNTING OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE (in collaboration with External Accountant)
1.Prepares the financial statements for external reporting or for BIR compliances
2. Prepares income tax returns to be filed with the Bureau of Internal Revenue.
3. Prepares monthly profit or loss and analytics for submission to management and audit.
4. Prepares monthly supporting schedules for submission to audit
5. Review tax returns to be filed with the BIR.
6. Reviews BIR Form 2307 to be provided to all suppliers and to the banks
ACCOUNTING OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE (independent as Accounting Manager)
1. Leads and motivates the team towards accomplishing Wildly Important Goals (WIGs).
2. Coordinates with all concerned departments regarding bank requirements.
3. Reviews and approves transactions and journal entries (i.e., collections, accounts payable set-up, accruals, payments, etc).
4. Provides a report on the actual versus budget for each department using revolving fund.
5. Reviews the Daily Collection Report.
6. Coordinates with the admin department for any procurement or billing requirements that must be paid.
7. Manages the accounting department and its subordinates in Bonavita and its sister companies.
8. Provides necessary accounting trainings to team members.
9. Make sure that the company is BIR compliant.
10. Make sure that the accounting department is prepared for any surprise inspection or audit from BIR.
11. Verifies bank transactions
12. Provides internal accounting report needed by the management
1. Graduate of Bs Accountancy, Business, or any related course for the position.
2. with 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in the field
3. CPA is required.
