Accounting Manager

Responsible for supervising and mentoring the accounting team, overseeing Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Disbursement operations, preparing financial statements, profit and loss reports, bank reconciliations, expense monitoring, and ensuring BIR compliance. All accounting activities are conducted in accordance with the policies and standards of Andrews Manpower Consulting Inc., ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely reporting to management. Provides support and assistance to the General Manager as needed for financial and operational matters.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor the accounting team, including AP, AR, and Disbursement Officers, ensuring staff development, smooth daily operations, and adherence to accounting standards.
• Review and approve accounting entries, vouchers, collections, and payments for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Prepare, consolidate, and review financial reports, including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Statement, and other management reports.
• Perform and oversee bank reconciliations, ensuring all cash transactions are properly recorded.
• Monitor and analyze expenses, advances, receivables, and payables, providing insights to management.
• Ensure BIR compliance, including preparation and submission of tax returns, withholding taxes, and supporting documentation.
• Assist in internal and external audits, providing all necessary records, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
• Ensure timely submission of reports to management, with copies to the Group Accounting & Financial Analysis Head. All accounting operations, records, and reports are subject to review in accordance with Andrews Manpower Consulting Inc. internal control policies.
• Coordinate with internal departments (Finance & Accounting, Operations, Recruitment) and external parties (Clients, Banks, Auditors, BIR) as needed.
• Coach, train, and develop staff, providing guidance on accounting processes, reporting, and best practices.
• Assist the General Manager in financial analysis, reporting, and operational matters as needed.
• Identify process improvements in accounting, reporting, and controls for efficiency and accuracy.
