Job description:
The AP Team Lead oversees daily operations of the AP function, ensuring service levels, accuracy, and compliance while guiding and supporting the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily AP activities including invoice processing and payments.
- Review and approve transactions and payment batches.
- Monitor KPIs, turnaround times, and accuracy levels.
- Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to team members.
- Handle escalations and complex vendor issues.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
- Support process improvements and system enhancements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3–5 years of AP experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or senior role.
- Strong knowledge of AP workflows, controls, and reporting.
- Experience in shared services or BPO is an advantage.
- Leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Job Type: Temporary
