WE ARE HIRING: ACCOUNTING MANAGER

We are

looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee the full financial

operations of our cafe. The role ensures accurate financial reporting, strong

internal controls, and full compliance with Philippine accounting and

government regulations.

KEY DUTIES

& RESPONSIBILITIES

A.

Financial Management & Reporting

Prepare

monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).

Ensure

accuracy and timeliness of daily sales reports and cash reconciliation.

Monitor

store profitability, cost trends, and variances.

Provide

financial analysis to management for operational decisions.

B. Cash

Management & Controls

Oversee

cash handling procedures, including deposits, shortages, and overages.

Reconcile

POS reports vs. actual cash and investigate discrepancies.

Monitor

petty cash fund, reimbursements, and liquidation reports.

Implement

internal controls to prevent fraud, pilferage, and cashiering errors.

C.

Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable

Review

and validate supplier invoices, delivery receipts, and purchase orders.

Ensure

timely payment to suppliers while maintaining healthy cash flow.

Monitor

receivables (corporate accounts, events, catering).

Maintain

updated vendor records and negotiate payment terms when needed.

D.

Inventory & Cost Control

Coordinate

with kitchen, barista, and purchasing teams on inventory accuracy.

Review Cost

of Goods Sold (COGS) and analyze variances.

Monitor

food cost, beverage cost, wastage, spoilage, and pilferage trends.

Participate

in monthly physical inventory and audit procedures.

E.

Payroll & Government Compliance

Coordinate

with HR for payroll processing, attendance validation, and adjustments.

Ensure

compliance with BIR and LGU requirements.

Prepare and

file BIR forms (1601C, 2550M/Q, 1702, 2307, etc.).

Maintain

proper documentation for audits and regulatory inspections.

F.

Budgeting & Forecasting

Prepare

annual budgets, sales forecasts, and expense projections.

Monitor

actual performance vs. budget and recommend corrective actions.

Support

management in planning new branches, expansions, or cost-saving initiatives

G. Team

Leadership & Coordination

Supervise

accounting staff.

Conduct

training on financial procedures and internal controls.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s

Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.

Preferably

a CPA or with strong accounting background.

Minimum 3–5

years experience in accounting; café/restaurant experience is an advantage.

Strong knowledge

of Philippine taxation, BIR compliance, and financial reporting.

Proficient

in accounting software and POS systems.

Ability to

work under pressure and meet deadlines.
