Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Head with a strong background in the hospital or healthcare industry to lead and manage the organization’s financial operations. The role is responsible for overseeing accounting functions, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and providing strategic financial insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial reporting
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with applicable standards
• Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of hospital revenues, including patient billing, insurance claims, and reimbursements
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting to support operational and strategic planning
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, tax requirements, and internal policies
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies during audits and financial reviews
• Manage and improve internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy
• Oversee cost accounting and profitability analysis across hospital departments (e.g., pharmacy, laboratory, inpatient/outpatient services)
• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team to ensure high performance and continuous improvement
• Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and support decision-making
• Implement and optimize accounting systems, ERP solutions, and financial processes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred
• Minimum of 5–10 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role
• Proven experience in the hospital or healthcare industry is required
• Strong knowledge of healthcare billing processes, insurance claims, and regulatory compliance
• Solid understanding of financial reporting standards and tax regulations
• Experience with accounting systems/ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms)
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
