Assistant Bookkeeper is responsible for keeping track of all cash flow within a company. Scope of responsibility includes payroll, taxes, bills, debts, company expenses, and petty cash. Assistant Bookkeeper is in charge of recording the details of each and every transaction that happens day to day in a company.

 


  • Recording a company’s daily financial transactions.
  • Reviewing financial data for accuracy.
  • Balancing a company’s income and expenses.
  • Filing and submitting government and tax forms.
  • Assist in computing and disbursing payroll.
  • Assist in creating systems to improve recording of data.
  • Helps in preparation of financial reports and data analysis.

Requirements

Job Title: Accounting Supervisor

 

Educational Qualifications:

Must possess at least a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

 

Experience Level:

A minimum of 1-3 years of professional accounting experience is required Skills.


Competencies:

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software, Strong numeracy and bookkeeping skills, Effective people management abilities, Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.

 

Responsibilities and Duties:

Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, Prepare financial statements and reports, Conduct detailed reconciliations of all accounts, Ensure accuracy in financial documents and compliance with relevant legal regulations, Collaborate with team members to improve financial processes.

 

Working Conditions:

Office-based role with standard work hours, Overtime may be required during periods of tight deadlines or financial reporting
