Salary Range: 3500 - 4000 USD/month


Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 08:00 AM – 04:30 PM (CST)

Position Overview:


We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, leading month-end close activities, and supporting the accounting operations of a fast-growing organization. This role is ideal for someone with strong U.S. GAAP expertise who thrives in a dynamic, high-growth environment and enjoys improving processes as the business scales more.


Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Perform daily bookkeeping and general accounting activities.
  • Prepare and post accurate, timely journal entries.
  • Execute month-end and year-end close procedures.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts.
  • Prepare account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
  • Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation records.
  • Record accruals, prepaids, and adjusting journal entries.
  • Support revenue recognition and expense allocations in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Prepare financial reports and supporting schedules for management.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting by providing reliable financial data.
  • Assist with annual audits and respond to external auditor requests.
  • Prepare documentation for internal and external audits.
  • Maintain strong internal controls and compliance with company policies.
  • Support sales tax, payroll, and other accounting-related reconciliations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiencies.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Payroll, Purchasing, and Executive Leadership.
  • Assist with special projects and ad hoc financial analysis.


Qualifications: 


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Proven ability to independently manage month-end close.
  • Extensive experience with journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Strong understanding of the full accounting cycle.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and advanced formulas.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to work U.S. business hours or maintain significant schedule overlap.
