We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in end-to-end accounting processes and a background working in an audit firm. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to contribute to the finance team while ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate financial records.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with tax filings and statutory report preparation, as applicable.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audit engagements.
• Identify process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency and accuracy.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, or a related field.
• At least 1–3 years of experience in end-to-end accounting.
• Previous experience working in an audit firm is required.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
