CPA Accountant

*Core Job Responsibilities*

*1. Financial Reporting & Analysis*
- Prepare and review financial statements: Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow
- Maintain general ledger and ensure accuracy of journal entries and accruals
- Perform month-end and year-end close processes
- Conduct variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting

*2. Tax Compliance & Planning*
- Prepare and file BIR tax returns: 170Q, 1701/1702, 2550Q, 0619E, etc.
- Handle government remittances: SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG
- Ensure compliance with BIR, SEC, and other regulatory requirements
- Assist with tax audits and year-end audit requirements

*3. Audit & Internal Controls*
- Act as liaison with external auditors during annual audits
- Develop and monitor internal controls to prevent fraud/errors
- Review transactions for compliance with company policies and PFRS/PAS

*4. Treasury & Costing*
- Manage cash flow, bank reconciliations, and fund disbursements
- Support product costing, inventory valuation, and budget preparation
- Analyze financial data to support business decisions

*5. Advisory & Management Support*
- Provide financial insights to management for decision-making
- Implement accounting systems/software and improve processes
- Train and supervise junior accounting staff

*Key Qualifications for a CPA Accountant*
- *License*: Certified Public Accountant - must be PRC licensed
- *Education*: Bachelor’s Degree in BS Accountancy
- *Experience*: 1-3 years in general accounting, audit, or tax. Big 4 experience often preferred. But newly board passer is welcome to apply.
- *Technical Skills*: Expert in Excel, ERP/accounting software, PFRS, BIR tax codes
- *Traits*: Detail-oriented, analytical, ethical, strong in deadlines and confidentiality
