WE'RE HIRING: ACCOUNTING MANAGER


Work Arrangement: Onsite


Monthly Salary: ₱50,000.00


Key Responsibilities


The Accounting Manager will be responsible for:

- Leading and managing the day-to-day operations of the Accounting Department.

- Coordinating directly with the Vice President for Finance regarding financial operations and reporting.

- Managing the department's Quality Management System (QMS).

- Performing financial duties assigned by the Company President.

- Serving as the primary financial contact for overseas principals by handling financial inquiries and correspondence.

- Reviewing and auditing remittances received from principals through company depository banks.

- Conducting final verification of monthly General Shipping Accounts (G.S.A.) reports and other assigned principal accounts.

- Reviewing and approving final wages and settlements of disembarked crew members.

- Overseeing accounting matters involving Protection and Indemnity (P&I) claims and insurance.

- Managing treasury functions, company checks, cash monitoring, and bank reconciliations.

- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, financial reporting requirements, and company policies.


Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy.

- CPA license is highly preferred.

- At least three (3) years of supervisory or managerial experience in Accounting or Finance.

- Experience in the maritime, shipping, or crew management industry is an advantage.

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, taxation, and regulatory compliance.

- Proficient in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel.

- Excellent analytical, leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
