ACCOUNTING HEAD

           Oversees the day-to-day operations of the Accounting Department. Ensures accuracy of financial records and timely delivery of financial records and lead the accounting team to support the financial health of the company. Reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Financial reporting: In charge for the month end and year end financial processes and timely submission of accurate financial reports to management and other regulatory agencies.

Compliance and audit: Ensure compliance with taxation laws and standard accounting principles. Coordinates with external auditors for annual audits, BIR and other regulating agencies.

Budgeting and forecasting: Spearhead and collaborate with department heads in the preparation of budgets and tracks expenditures. Forecast company’s financial requirements.

Process improvement: Identify operational inefficiencies and implement possible improvements and streamline routine tasks.

Team Leadership: Supervise, train and mentor accounting staff, delegate tasks and evaluate performance.

QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS:

Education       : Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy

Certification   : Certified Public Accountant

Experience     : 3 years supervisory or team lead accounting position

Soft skills        : Exceptional analytical, problem and communication skills
