Description

Prepare and record financial transactions, including journal entries, adjustments, and classification of accounting transactions to ensure accurate financial reporting;
Reconcile financial accounts, including bank accounts, receivables, payables, and fixed assets, ensuring proper documentation and accuracy.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing financial data to provide a clear view of the company's financial performance.
Support tax compliance and preparation, including VAT remittances, withholding taxes, income tax returns, and other BIR requirements; validate tax documents such as the Alpha list, business permits, and Year-End Inventory Reports for accuracy and compliance.
Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and addressing any findings from auditors to ensure compliance with internal controls and financial regulations.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies, while maintaining and updating accurate financial records.
Monitor the depreciation of fixed assets, ensuring that asset life, depreciation schedules, and net book values are tracked and reported correctly.
Check and review month-end adjusting entries and perform reconciliations to support the timely and accurate closing of financial periods.
Prepare special financial reports to analyze trends and present insights on the company's financial condition.
Assist in the preparation and monitoring of consolidated financial statements and budget/projections for better financial management and forecasting.
Safeguard company assets and maintain financial security by implementing and enhancing internal control measures to protect against mismanagement or fraud.
Participate in system enhancements, validating the accuracy of accounting software improvements and ensuring proper implementation of new processes.
Collaborate on improving company products and services by providing financial analysis and recommendations.
Ensure regulatory compliance with financial filings, including business permits, licenses, and updates to the General Information Sheet (GIS) related to the company’s structure and stock composition.
Maintains professional confidentiality of all accounting records and financial matters;
Functions in accordance with established standards, policies, procedures and applicable laws.
Perform other functions and duties as may be directed by the immediate Head and Management.

Requirement

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA preferred.
With accounting experience is preferred;
Professional certifications such as CPA are preferred; additional training in financial software and tax regulations is advantageous.
Knowledge of Accounting Standards: Familiarity with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) or IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) as applicable.
Strong leadership and analytical skills;
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP);
Excellent communication skills
Capable of addressing and resolving financial issues and discrepancies promptly.
Effective organization and management of multiple financial tasks and responsibilities
