Job Training
Job Responsibilities:
- Handles typesetting and book layout based on client specifications and requirements.
- Performs proofreading, corrections, and quality checks to ensure accurate and consistent output.
- Experienced in novels, children’s books, academic texts, and non-standardized publications.
- Knowledgeable in book production processes, including template creation, preflight, printer PDF, and prepress checks.
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of relevant experience, preferably in publishing.
- Proficient in Adobe InDesign and Acrobat; Illustrator/Photoshop is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of typography, layouts, and book production.
- Familiar with InDesign features: INDB, TOC, Indexing, Cross-References, Footnotes/Endnotes, and Text Variables.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Flexible with different book layouts and formats.
- Willing to work full-time in Ortigas, Mandaluyong City.
- Hybrid setup available after training.
