- Hands-on experience in circuit troubleshooting, testing, repair, and preventive maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation
- Experience in UAVs, robotics, autonomous systems, embedded systems, or related engineering projects is highly preferred
- Knowledge of software-hardware integration, APIs, communication protocols, or system interfaces is an advantage
- Familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or equivalent is an advantage
- Knowledge of PCB design and schematic tools such as Altium Designer, KiCad, Eagle, or similar is an advantage
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
- Willingness to travel locally for field testing, demonstrations, and operational support
SOFTWARE & PROGRAMMING — MUST HAVE
The successful candidate should be comfortable building and working with software, not just using existing applications.
You should be able to:
- Develop and modify software or scripts for UAV and engineering applications
- Write, test, debug, and maintain C/C++ and Python code
- Work with microcontrollers, embedded systems, and hardware interfaces
- Troubleshoot software and hardware integration issues
- Analyze system and flight data
- Develop tools or software that improve UAV operation, testing, automation, or data processing
- Collaborate with hardware and engineering teams to integrate software into UAV systems
Strong programming ability and actual software development experience are essential for this position.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the integration and configuration of UAV systems, including flight controllers, sensors, GNSS modules, telemetry systems, and remote controllers
- Configure, calibrate, tune, and optimize flight control systems
- Develop, test, and troubleshoot UAV-related software and embedded applications
- Conduct system testing, data collection, and post-flight analysis
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and system integration issues
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, system profiles, manuals, and test reports
- Participate in UAV field tests, demonstrations, and project activities
- Support UAV deployment and regulatory inspections
- Apply UAV safety standards, aviation regulations, and industry best practices
- Work closely with hardware, software, geospatial, and operations teams
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of UAV systems and engineering solutions
