Job Description
Description
- Assist in the operation of deck machinery and equipment under the guidance of the Officer of the Watch.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the vessel's exterior, decks, and equipment.
- Participate in onboard safety drills and emergency procedures to ensure readiness.
- Support experienced crew members in mooring and unmooring operations during port call.
- Maintain a high standard of personal cleanliness and adherence to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: Diploma in Nautical Science or related field.
- Experience Level: 1-3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Skills and Competencies: Basic knowledge of maritime safety and equipment operations.
- Responsibilities and Duties: Capable of performing basic deck duties and following instructions effectively.
- Qualities and Traits: Strong teamwork skills and a commitment to safely executing tasks.
