Paramount Life & General Insurance Corp. is seeking a Motor Claims Processor to join our dynamic claims team in Calamba, Laguna. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in our operations, ensuring that motor insurance claims are processed efficiently, accurately and in accordance with policy terms and regulatory requirements. As a Motor Claims Processor, you will be at the frontline of our customer service, managing the entire claims lifecycle from initial assessment through to settlement. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for excellent customer service and operational excellence within the insurance industry.

What you'll be doing

• Receiving, reviewing and validating motor insurance claims to ensure all necessary documentation is complete and accurate
• Assessing claim eligibility against policy terms, conditions and coverage limits
• Investigating claims by liaising with claimants, witnesses, repair service providers and other relevant parties to gather information
• Determining liability and approving or rejecting claims based on policy provisions and findings
• Processing claim payments and issuing settlement letters to claimants in a timely manner
• Maintaining accurate and detailed records of all claims transactions and correspondence
• Communicating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve claim queries and discrepancies
• Identifying and flagging potentially fraudulent claims for further investigation
• Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures and relevant insurance regulations
• Providing regular updates to claimants regarding the status of their claims

What we're looking for

• Graduate of any 4 year business course
• Proven experience working as a claims processor, claims adjuster or in a similar role within the insurance industry
• Strong knowledge of motor insurance products, coverage types and claim procedures
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy when processing multiple claims simultaneously
• Proficiency in using claims processing software and management systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and local languages
• Ability to work independently whilst also collaborating effectively with team members
• Sound analytical and problem-solving skills to assess complex claim situations
• Customer-focused mindset with patience and empathy when dealing with claimants
• Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of relevant insurance regulations and compliance requirements is preferred
