A. M. Engineering has been a successful business for more than twenty (20) years as it started its first operation on April 21, 1992. Originally, it was located at “#1 Guevarra Street, Corner Mindanao Avenue, Maharlika Village, Taguig City, Metro Manila, Philippines, 1630”. A. M. Engineering, was founded by Engineer Abenir F. Mioten. After working for several companies in the Semi-Conductor Industry as a Mechanical Engineer, he dreamt of having his own business and pursued his ideals and started a small company. Since it was an infant business, investing on the human capital and the equipment was nearly impossible, however it managed to succeed and grew more as time passed. A. M. Engineering started with five (5) employees operating its machines, as it only had a gas welding machine, shearing machine, and a bending machine. However, the lack of equipment did not hinder it from operating and was able to serve several companies and of which are “Zilog Electronics Inc., Read-Rite Corp., and Ionics Inc.” during its early operational years.
Seven (7) Years later, to cope with the demand of its newer customers, it has acquired new machines such as milling & lathe machines. Since the business started to grow, space became a major concern resulting to the transfer of the business to its current location “Lot 1, Block 50, Tawi-tawi Street, Corner Rogan Street, Maharlika Village, Taguig City, Metro Manila, Philippines, 1631”. Currently, A. M. Engineering, is serving several companies such as “Continental Temic Automotive Inc., Continental Temic Electronics Philippines Incorporated, Fastech Microassembly & Test Inc., Hayakawa Electronics Philippines Corp., Maxim Philippines Corp., ON Semiconductor Inc., PSI Technologies Inc., San Miguel Yamamura Packaging Corp., Team Pacific Corp., and Vishay Philippines Inc.”. Since then, the business has started aiming for the bigger market. It believes that the implementation of a Quality Management System will improve the quality of its services and the products they provide. With this, it has been granted the certification of ISO 9001:2001 by early 2004, and to cope with the certifications revision, it has recently been granted the certification of ISO 9001:2008 by early 2015.
