Rue Bourbon, a Philippine based company, opened its first branch in March of 2009 at Fort Bonifacio in Global City. The goal of the owners was to let Philippine customers experience the same energy and uniqueness of its namesake, the famous Bourbon Street of New Orleans (home of the annual Mardi Gras Parade). The original concept of a Bar having a rustic, yet comfortable design that served delicious Southern cuisine was an instant success. The Philippine market instantly connected not just with the look and feel of the Bar, but also with it's distinct food, wide variety of specialty cocktails, and service with a personal touch. Rue Bourbon became a place people could call their own. By 2011, a new goal was set: to break away from the competition by offering a more varied menu, to complement its already strong Dinner menu. These efforts led towards the goal of developing Rue Bourbon from being everyone's favorite watering hole, into a true casual dining experience. Part of the program is to implement international standards that can compete with foreign concepts, thereby revitalizing the brand and making it ready for future expansion within the Philippines and abroad. Rue Bourbon is owned by Rue Bourbon Holdings, Inc. It is currently managed by Canbro Concepts Holdings, Inc. There are currently 6 branches operating, with future plans to expand locally and internationally.
