R. Dan and Co., Inc. was founded in 1954 by the late Robert Dan as a paper mill consulting firm. Later, it expanded its activities into making machinery for the paper industry, as well as belting and conveyors for airport and other industries. In 1957, the company offers and distributes conveyor belts from Siegling, Germany. In 1960, R. Dan and Co., Inc. started to manufacture conveyor systems and installed baggage handling systems for airports. By 1993, the company started a joint venture with Sulzer Paper Technology later known as Voith Paper. In 2000, the ownership reverted back to the Dan Family. R. Dan and Co., Inc. in 2005 received its BS EN ISO 9001:2000 certification from Moody International with accreditation from DSM and UKAS. In 2007, the company started a cooperation with Andritz AG, Austria for Tissue Machine. R. Dan and Co., Inc., today remains a licensee of Voith Paper, and serves the paper industry and conveying needs by providing high quality equipment and services. With its quality manufacturing facilities and modern engineering offices, the company has become the market leader in paper mill equipment and conveyors in the Philippines.
