The Cooperative was founded on January 24, 2008 and was named the Providers Savings and Credit Cooperative (PSCC). Twenty-four Cooperators who were all employees of the Commission On Audit (COA) in the Province of Isabela voluntarily joined together and organized the Cooperative with an initial capital of P500.00 each totaling P12,000.00. On July 21, 2008, the registration of the Cooperative name and its Articles of Cooperation and By-laws was approved by the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) with an authorized share capital of      Four Million Pesos (P4M). On its seventh year, the General Assembly approved the BOD proposal to create various programs which led to the amendment of the cooperative articles and by-laws and the cooperative transformation from savings and credit to a multi-purpose cooperative. On August 11, 2015 the CDA approved the registration of its name, the  Providers Multi-Purpose Cooperative (PMPC) including the amended articles and by-laws. Inspired with the expanded purposes and services, the PMPC vision and mission were designed with our distinctive logo that symbolize our desire to transform and become greater through cooperative.
