MCM started in 1992 as Pricemart, a peddler handling various fast-moving products ranging from both food and non- food. The company started small with only three trucks, two salesmen and two clerks. They cater to wholesalers and market blocks in Caloocan, Valenzuela, Bulacan and Pampanga. In February 1994, the company carried Monde Nissin Corporation (MNC) products but had to rent another warehouse due to increased space requirement. Pricemart-MNC only had 1 salesman. After 4 years and 2 months, MNC offered the jobbership of Caloocan and Valenzuela to Pricemart. At the start of November 1998, Pricemart and MNC’s partnership grew stronger with the former becoming the exclusive distributor of the latter in CaMaNaVa area. In 2006, Quezon City was added to Pricemart. However, Pricemart had to restructure and renamed to Mc Mpire, Inc. From a small business entity which had less than 10 employees, Mc Mpire has grown to a 111 employees – a strong company up to present.
