J.T. Oil Philippines, Inc (JTOPI) was founded in July 1970. It started as a retail company dealing in the fabrication of hydraulic hose assemblies intended for general usages including power brakes, Freon, fuel, steam and air, among others. A decade after, 1980, we began marketing Dunlop brand hydraulic and industrial hoses from U.K. as the exclusive distributor in the Philippines. In 1992, we opened our first (1st) JTOPI branch in northeast of Luzon. In 1993, the company was appointed as the exclusive distributor of Dunlop Hiflex fittings. In this year, we opened the second (2nd) branch which was located in south of Metro Manila and the third (3rd) branch in West Mindanao, Philippines, followed by at Central Visayas and another in northwest of Luzon. In 1994, we opened our JTOPI central warehouse in Quezon City, occupying an ample space for our stocks of hoses and fittings. This was brought about because of the influx of demand from the branch offices. In 1995, because of voluminous requirement on hose fittings such as specialty or made- to-order and non-availability in the market, we decided to put up our two (2) machine shops in our HQ. Available are CNC lathes and NCTC – numerically controlled turning centers. JTOPI can now produce special type of fittings and can produce in large quantities. Came 1996, because of satisfying sales performance from Dunlop, JTOPI was appointed also as the Philippine exclusive distributor of Finn-Power crimping and swaging machines. This year, we were contracted by Tamrock Equipment Company, now known as Sandvik Tamrock Philippines, Inc., to supply, fabricate and repair hydraulic and industrial hoses for their contract with Philex Mining Corporation – specifically at Padcal mine site. The following year, 1997, Aeroquip (US) hydraulic hoses and fittings was included from the product mix. Hence, the company had earned the reputation as a one stop shop -INDUSTRIAL HOSE COMPANY. In fact, we pioneered in setting up a complete hose fabrication facility in the vicinity. JTOPI, has further evolved and is currently representing more than a dozen industrial products as a Philippine distributor. Below is a list of products and services presently represented as to date.
