Envirokonsult Equipment and Services, Inc. (Envirokonsult) is the pioneering designer, builder, and operator of fully mechanized septage treatment facilities in the Philippines. Envirokonsult is considered as the country’s leading desludging truck supplier and the first service provider to acquire ISO Certifications in Quality Management and Environmental Management Systems on septage collection, treatment, disposal, and reuse.Since 2001, Envirokonsult has provided and operated over 150 units of desludging trucks to the biggest water utility companies in Metro Manila. This comes with a 24/7 on-call technical service support and a backup of over PHP15M inventory on vacuum truck spare parts. In 2013, Envirokonsult built its own Septage Treatment Plant (SpTP) in Bay, Laguna as a model facility for the government’s septage management program. The plant, which is now known as Fully Mechanized Facility (FMF), is fully automated with a processing capacity of 60m3 to 100m3 of septage per day. It is compact, modular, expandable, fast, and easy to install.Today, Envirokonsult has built six septage treatment facilities located in Bay, Laguna; Cordova, Cebu; Naga, Cebu; Angeles, Pampanga; Lipa, Batangas; and Baguio City.A complete facility consists of:1) Septage Acceptance Facility with “Asianized” double belt2) Sludge Dewatering Facility which affords the reuse of sludge for compost and landfills3) MBR/Centrate Treatment which allows disposal of Class C water for reuse in irrigation, gardens, and ponds.
