The Philippines is the closest country to Japan among ASEAN countries, is a pro-Japanese country, and English is widely available. Moreover, the population is growing, with half of the population being under 21 years old, and the population is expected to reach 150 million by 2050.   We decided to set up our factory in the Philippines because we can employ many talented people, we do not foresee a labor shortage like in Japan, and we can expect stable "manufacturing." It is also attractive that we can easily operate 24 hours a day and there are fewer holidays than in Japan.
